Customizing Chat Rooms using Templates
You can use a custom chat room template to configure applet parameters and HTML surrounding the chat applet window. For more information, see the Templates section.
Look for the chatRoom macro in the webxStd-local.tpl file, copy it to your webx.tpl file and rename it.
Make any desired changes to the HTML surrounding the room or in the applet parameters and give it a unique name.
To customize a corresponding HTML chat room, find the chatRoom_html macro and edit it as well. Name it the same as your Java room, but with _html appended.
Go to the Edit button associated with the chat room to which you want to apply the template and fill in the name of your new macro.
Reset the file cache to see your changes.
A complete list of applet parameters and settings is found in the Sysop Documentation.
For information on customizing an HTML chat window as well, see the HTML chat page.
Chat-applet Java-source-code license is included with all licenses. Contact Web Crossing support for more information, and include your valid License. If you don't know your license code, contact sales first.
