Web Crossing is not acting as it should.

For Example:


  • Buttons next to Messages, Links or Chat are Missing
  • Items (folders, discussions, messages,etc.) aren't being properly displayed
  • I receive "Invalid Pathname" errors.
  • Some message options (next, prev, more, etc) aren't working.

Answer

Virtually 100% of these types of problems are related to customer customizations (macros, HTML) and aren't the fault of Web Crossing.


  1. Turn off your templates in the sysop control panel. Then try again
  2. If you have custom HTML is such areas as Control Panel/Customizing/Folder/"HTML template for each item in a folder list:", remove it. Then see if the problem disappears.
