On WindowsNT "Error 431" occasionally happens when attempting to install Web Crossing. |

Error 431 is "service already installed". This happens when the user has run the installer twice and is unwittingly attempting to install a new service at the same location as one that is already installed. To install a new version of Web Crossing, the existing service must be first stopped and uninstalled With the Web Crossing Configuration dialog. |
