My common.log file rotation is not working.

common.log is supposed to rotate every evening, but it is not.

Answer

Common.log can only rotate when it is in the root Web Crossing directory (where it goes by default). You probably changed the location of common.log

For security reasons Web Crossing is restricted from auto-renaming files if it is in any other directory other than the root webx directory.
